ऑस्ट्रेलिया के Harris Park में 27 मार्च 2026 को शहीद-ए-आज़म भगत सिंह की स्मृति में एक भव्य और गरिमामय श्रद्धांजलि कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम भारतीय मूल के प्रवासी समुदाय के लिए न केवल भावनात्मक बल्कि प्रेरणादायक अवसर साबित हुआ, जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में लोगों ने भाग लेकर महान क्रांतिकारी को श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किए।
यह आयोजन Billu's Indian Restaurant में आयोजित किया गया, जिसे रोबी सिंह साहनी और गुरमीत सिंह तुली द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया गया था। कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य भगत सिंह के अद्वितीय बलिदान, उनके क्रांतिकारी विचारों और देश के प्रति उनके अटूट समर्पण को याद करना था।
कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि ऑस्ट्रेलियाई सांसद Andrew Charlton रहे, जो कैबिनेट सचिव तथा विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी एवं डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था के सहायक मंत्री के पद पर भी कार्यरत हैं। अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने भगत सिंह के जीवन और उनके विचारों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि उनका साहस, दूरदृष्टि और देशभक्ति आज भी पूरी दुनिया के युवाओं के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत है। उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि भगत सिंह जैसे महान व्यक्तित्व सीमाओं से परे जाकर मानवता, न्याय और स्वतंत्रता के प्रतीक बन चुके हैं।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान “इंकलाब जिंदाबाद” के गगनभेदी नारों से वातावरण देशभक्ति के रंग में रंग गया। उपस्थित लोगों ने भगत सिंह के आदर्शों को अपनाने और समाज में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाने का संकल्प लिया। कार्यक्रम में वक्ताओं ने भगत सिंह के जीवन संघर्ष, उनके क्रांतिकारी लेखन और स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन में उनके योगदान पर भी विस्तार से चर्चा की।
